What is required to rent equipment?
You must be at least 25 year old to rent any equipment from A&K RECREATIONAL RENTALS with a valid driver’s license. You must be familiar with operating any equipment you rent. You must also have a verified credit card on file for the security deposit.
Do you require insurance?
Yes, all renters are required to purchase insurance at the time of the rental. The insurance policy is $18 for the first day, and $15 for each additional day.
Do you need a security deposit?
A security deposit of $1500.00 CASH is required to rent any equipment and is due at the time of check out from the RENTER. Deposits are
released after the completion of the rental period provided no damage to the equipment is found, and no additional charges have accrued.
What is your reservation & cancellation policy?
To reserve your equipment there is a $150.00 per day non-refundable reservation fee. When the equipment is reserved, it is no longer available for other customers and as such A&K RECREATIONAL RENTALS LLC cannot commit the equipment to another customer during the reserved dates. Consequently, in the event the renter cancels, changes dates, shortens their trip, or in any other way amends their rental period, the $150.00 per day fee is due.
What size of towing ball and light adapter plug do I need?
You will need a 2” ball to tow any of our trailers; you also need a 4 flat trailer light hookup.
Do you offer a service to drop off and pick up the rental equipment?
Yes. We can deliver and pick the equipment wherever you would like; for additional cost.
What accessories do you provide with your rentals?
All of our rentals equipment comes with trailers and helmets at no extra charge.
How long will UTV last on a single tank?
The time and distance our UTV will last depends on the driving style, terrain, and payload. However, most of the time, full tank should last a full day. All machines have a gas gauges for your convenience.
Do the machines have seat belts?
Yes, there are seat belts which must be used at all times for all riders.
What to wear?
It depends on where you are going. We always recommend to dress in layers to accommodate changing altitudes and weather conditions as needed. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are usually best.
Do the machines have storage for food, water, and clothing?
Yes, all the machines have a luggage compartment for small coolers, food, clothing, and other small items.
Can we take your rental machines outside of Utah?
No, at this time our machines are not allowed to leave Utah without our express written permission. If you are planning an extended trip outside of Utah, we can discuss special terms or exceptions on a case by case basis.
What happens if I damage anything?
During check-out we fill out “equipment check-out sheet”, and video tape the rented equipment to ensure that both the renter, and A&K RECREATIONAL RENTALS is protected incase of any discrepancies in damages. If any damages or lack of cleaning was the fault of the renter, they will be responsible to repair the damages. No repairs will be allowed by RENTER or other suggested mechanics.
Can you clean the machine and trailer for us if we run short on time?
Yes. It is required that you clean the machines and trailers before you return them at the end of the rental period. However, we can clean the machine and trailer for you if you desire for $50 per machine.
